What I eat in a day #4 Vegetarian

Hey everyone,

How are you ?

I would like to apologise for the lack of posts. I write about things I am passionate about / like and I would feel like I am not being true to myself if I would prioritize quantity over quality.

I would like to thank everyone who voted and would like to remind you that the poll is still up on the blog. I will look at all the answers at the end of next week. If you haven’t voted already, please check it out !

If you are annoyed at the lack of posts, I have a Tumblr and a Twitter and I try to post more regularly on there ( especially Tumblr ). I am completely new to Twitter but I will get the hang of it eventually. It could be a nice way for us to interact as I would love to get to know you all a little better.

Food wise, today was pretty uneventful. I did not cook ( I know, shocking ) but ate some good stuff.

For breakfast I had my usual coffee. They had a deal at M&S so I also bought two big bottles of smoothie. Pretty good. I believe it was £4 for the two bottles.

Super Berry smoothie from M&S and Veggie Curry for Lunch

 Lunch was quick and tasty. If you live in London, please check out the Lemon Tree pub. It is located in Covent Garden, two mins away from Charing Cross station. They are fast, cheap and the food is gorgeous.

Came snack time, I did not want to go for my usual Alpro so I went out and bought a large green smoothie from Tossed. I have tried many many green smoothies ( prêt à manger, planet organic, etc.. ) and the one from Tossed is hands down the best.

How gorgeous is the salad ? 

By the time I finished working and cleaning the flat, I was exhausted. I had a salad from Prêt ready to go in my fridge. It was supposed to be lunch for tomorrow with kale crisps but I just thought, fuck it. I was not about to clean more dishes today. I just added some leftover olives I had from M&S and toasted my wholewheat bread for the extra carbs.

I like doing this kind of post because  I can look back on my day and I know that it also helps people. I often get questions like : ” But what do you eat ?” “Are you not hungry ?” “Food must be boring no ?” and it shows skeptic people out there that no, giving up meat is not boring ! Look how colorful my food is ( and nutritious ).

Anyway, I will stop here before I start rambling too much.

Please be patient with me. I know I have been a little boring lately but I will make it up to you I promise.
