I tried the e.l.f Hydrating Bubble Mask

Hi Everyone,

I thought I would do something a bit different today  beauty wise!

I recently got a big e.l.f package in and I thought why not try the Hydrating Bubble Mask for you guys.

I love masks and face treatments in general and I was very excited at the idea of having my face covered with bubbles.

Not gonna lie, I really wanted to look like this :

It came very close though and had a very good laugh.

The mask comes in a lovely transparent / clear blue packaging.

It is very important to read the instructions first because it is quite different from any other hydrating masks.

After you apply a fine layer all over your face, put a 5 to 10 mins timer on and let the magic happen.

PS : I would suggest you clean the top of the box after you pushed down the sides to get the product out.

The sensation is very unique. At first, it is very tingly and being ticklish, I wondered how I was going to survive 5 to 10 mins with the mask on my face. But as the bubbles grow bigger and your face becomes a big fat cloud, it just feels like a comfortable bubble pillow.

I embraced how ridiculous I was looking.

The results ?

It is very different from other hydrating masks I have personally tested. My skin is very dry around my mouth and eyes and nothing has really changed. It just feels like I have put on a hydrating primer before my foundation.

It did not nourish my skin but just created a thin layer on top.

It was definitely fun to do and I got a lot of funny Snapchats out of it but if you are looking for a real hydrating mask, I would not recommend it. My skin feels clean but I can confirm that it is still very thirsty ! For £14.00, I would definitely pass.

Lots of Kisses
