I thought I would do a little me update today.
This is going to be short and sweet but I wanted to let you guys know that I am doing okay. Whilst PCOS does not have a treatment per say, I have been trying out different medications and taking care of myself .
The first pill I was on, whilst it helped with some of the symptoms, made me gain weight, no matter how healthy I was eating and the hours of exercise each week.
But for the first time, whilst it is the heaviest I have ever been and looked (I am a size 12 now), this weight gain, which would have destroyed my self-esteem a couple of years ago, hasn’t been affecting me.
I know it’s silly but I am proud of looking the way I do because I am healthy (or getting there I guess) and in charge. So far, I have seen three gynaecologists, two hormones specialists, one nutritionist and I won’t stop until I found what’s best for me and my body.

Polycystic ovary syndrome affects more women than we think and it is important to get a check up and talk about it if you have any doubts or concerns. I’ll happily talk about my experience with you guys if you ever want to know more.
